HOW DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM YOU?

We obtain information from you when you visit the salon using our Client Consultation Form and also from our website when you book treatments, send a message, request to be added to our mailing list or order products from our online in store, or when you contact us via mobile phone or text message.
WHAT TYPE OF INFORMATION IS COLLECTED FROM YOU?

In addition to your basic contact information (name, date of birth, telephone numbers, email, your address and signature) we will collect other relevant details including current, and past health and medical information which is important for our client duty of care process. If you purchase a product / treatment from us, we do not store credit/debit card information, it is collected by third party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions.
HOW IS YOUR INFORMATION USED?

The information we collect about you is used to ensure we provide you with the best and most appropriate treatments and products. We send booking confirmations and information about promotions on treatments and products, that we believe would be of interest to you. We may occasionally contact you to ask for your feedback on services we have provided.
WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION?
We promise not to sell/rent /share your personal information to third parties. We promise not to share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. We use your contact information to respond to queries from you. Any information that is given to us via our website, social media, booking system and phone is only accessible via GOTU staff members and is password protected. You can request any messages that contain any personal information to be deleted. We would only ever share personal data in an urgent or emergency situation.
STORAGE, PROCESSING AND RETENTION OF INFORMATION

We retain your information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our products and services and to maintain records to satisfy HMRC, tax and other legal and insurance requirements. All digital information is password protected and any personal paperwork is kept in a locked storage facility on the premises. No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect user's personal information, GOTU cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information transmitted to it or from its online products or services, and users do so at their own risk. Once GOTU receives your transmission it makes every effort to ensure its security on its systems.
